The birds return every evening. Tonight, their numbers mean something else.
The keeper of an old pigeon tower notices the evening flock leaving precise gaps in the sky. The pattern is a countdown, and the buried city beneath his village has begun answering it. As families prepare to flee, a voice from below offers him the one home he thought he would never see again.
An ordinary evening sky becomes the promise of an extraordinary return.
