The story
Two worlds share one fragile surface. Neither can afford the next breath.
A physicist discovers a second universe behind a film thinner than a soap bubble. Its boundary responds to his breathing, opening whenever he stays calm and tearing whenever he speaks. When a signal from the other side asks for help, he has minutes to make contact without letting either world collapse into the space between them.
