Watchmaker Elias keeps the last hour of each customer's life beneath a glass dome. When his estranged son asks for one ordinary evening together, a stolen mechanism seals Elias inside his own collection. Outside, his phone keeps lighting up. He must learn which hour was taken before the person he has postponed once too often stops calling.
A luminous chamber holds the second chance he cannot afford to waste.
