The story
The hardest journey of his life begins beside his own bed.
Since his wife's death, Karim has avoided the room beyond their bedroom. One night, the floor between his bed and the door becomes a canyon, crossed by a narrow rope bridge. His daughter's morning call is the only thing waiting on the other side. Each delay lengthens the crossing, and someone has begun knocking from below.
