The story
The wishing well returns his coins with proof that someone has paid.
A man returns to the abandoned well where he made a childhood wish and drops in a coin out of habit. By morning, it lies on his doorstep beside a stranger's wedding photograph. Every new wish brings another returned coin and another life changed beyond repair. When his daughter's face appears in the next photograph, can he take a wish back?
