The story
One soaked mover must deliver a mattress before the next disaster dreams itself.
A broke mover takes a cash job that should be simple: carry an old mattress across town before midnight. Every stranger who briefly sleeps on it predicts another disaster, and every prediction comes true. As the streets flood and his customer stops answering, he must choose between completing the delivery and waking whoever is still dreaming on the other side.
The worst shift of his life may be everybody's last.
